Data Engineer
Contractor role (ZZP)
Imagine this ...
I am working on genuinely vital and massive datasets. I have a job that gives me puzzles to knack, but I have the ability to come up with new solutions every day. Because I am a master in SQL and know, or are willing to learn, no SQL. I am an experienced data wrangler, and I am looking for opportunities to perfect my skills and to grow in my data knowledge. And by doing this, I add something to myself, but also to society.
Make the difference
You will be working with (big) data sets and provide insights from this data together with business analysts
You will be writing SQL and Python code in order to deliver the data that modellers and others need
You can choose the path that leads to the solution.

You’ll develop the principles for creating data sets that meet the latest organizational and regulatory requirements for data quality
Through experience, you will become (or already are!) the senior advisor and technical leader
As a Senior you’ll need to have the skills and personality to get the most out of your team and guide them towards the goals you have agreed to achieve
Do you recognize yourself in the next?
A Master degree in finance or a quantitative field (mathematics, physics or similar)
Strong communication skills, in English and/or Dutch
A thorough mastery of SQL
Hands-on expertise in Python programming
A deep understanding of business processes, or the ability to learn this quickly
The ability to present solutions and provide clear documentation of all steps, so that data sets are not only useable, but sustainable
